My passion as an occupational therapist is helping young adults develop the technical and social-emotional skills needed to achieve success and balance at school, home, and the workplace. I feel responsible for helping my students not only participate in meaningful occupations, but also to provide an environment that encourages them to explore new interests and examine patterns of behavior and thinking.
Our young adults cannot thrive at school, work or in life if they are not equipped to work through stress and anxiety. I am so very grateful for the opportunity to experience the joy of making alongside colleagues, students and clients.
My practice methods are informed by MBCT and ACT. Please join our Facebook group- Network for Makers and Creatives to join the conversation! https://www.facebook.com/groups/networkofmakersandcreatives/
